Monthly CAF/BAF and Peak Season Surcharge

The Member Lines of the FEFC wish to advise Shippers:-
Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)
The BAF applicable for the month of August 2006 will be USD 296.00 per TEU/USD 14.80 W/M LCL.

Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)
The CAF applicable for the month of August 2006 will be +7.8 %.
Peak Season Surcharge- From Asia (Excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic and Scandinavian Areas
Further to their announcement dated 26th May, Member Lines of the FEFC confirm that a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of USD 90 per TEU will apply on cargo moving in the above trade lanes with effect from 1st August 2006.   (a PSS is already in place in the Asia/Mediterranean trade).   This will remain in place until 31st October 2006.
